Timeline for Appointments

.The daily mailbox visit might give me a stroke!
I empathize with you. I took this photo of my DS back in 2015 while he was waiting

HAHAHA!!! It's HORRIBLE!!!

So I've stalked their Facebook page (Admissions) - And in years past, and it looks like a large wave went out for the Class of 2017 on 02/22. Also found a large mailing went out on 01/29 for the Class of 2019. So this years seems to be a bit later.....just sharing. Really grasping at straws...The daily mailbox visit might give me a stroke!

I guess Admissions isn't announcing their 1st big wave or posting pics of baskets full of BFEs like the last 2 years, but you can infer from the "Appointment" post that there was a (1st?) wave of appointments sent out in the 2nd week of January. There have been other smaller ones later.

I emailed my RC, CPT Fatula for the Great Lakes, to ask him if there was a timeline for when appointments would be sent out. I got an automatic reply that he will be out of office until March 14th. Does this mean that I definitely won't be getting any information until the 14th about if I got an appointment or not? The email said to email his technician for immediate assistance, but in the past I have emailed her and received no response, even for pressing questions.

The wait is killing me too! For some odd reason, it seems like no one from Michigan has gotten an appointment at least on this forum (despite being the 10th most populous state).

I’m waiting on my waiver to get processed. I’ve been sitting on “pending waiver review” since January 23rd, and I haven’t heard back since. Is this normal?

I wouldn't worry, I just got cleared after months.

DD woke this morning to a notice in her USMA portal "Congratulations, you have received an offer of appointment " (I'm paraphrasing, but that was the gist!)....................This is a big day! After running around the house and calling her sister, she dashed off to tell one of her teachers in person , who has been a tremendous resource and support to DD and us, as she has a daughter who is a WP grad...............After all this waiting, I don't know how to feel!!!

Congratulations!!! Happy for you all!

Congrats to your DD, Goat 965!
For those of us still waiting, your DD was in waiver status for ~3 month, then ~2-3 weeks later received an appointment? Did the waiver also change in the portal without notice or did it change on DoDMERB first? I know that I'm perseverating on the waiver but it's so frustrating...my DS doesn't actually have the condition for the DQ, just used a medication once that automatically DQ's!

My DD's had that this morning as well. I know what you mean when you say you don't know how to feel. I was so excited to find out but I was so used to waiting that it was weird not to be waiting anymore. :)

Hi, and thanks to all for the congrats. Pretty proud Dad here. Regarding her process........Got DQ'ed by Dodmerb late November, RC initiated waiver process, and then we waited. We sent in anything that was requested, and waited........Waiver approval updated on portal on February 27 (though the RC notified her of the approval a few days prior. It also showed up on the Dodmerb portal. Got 3Q letter in portal on March 1 in portal and received appointment notice in portal this morning (though it could have been yesterday, she has been much more patient, and wasn't checking her portal every 5 minutes like I might). No call from MOC and we will not stalk the mailbox for the BFE.

Thank you, Goat 965. DS has not heard anything from RC...his portal says 'disqualified' and DoDMERB still says 'pending waiver request'. The kids do seem to wait this out better than the parents!

Same here for my DD and USNA. The wait is ROUGH! (and she's really feeling it now, also - not just me!)

I said that too 2yrs ago, “after all this waiting, I don’t know how to feel!” And can you believe that we are doing it again? DS#2. .. is following his brothers foot step. Hubby said, I should save my scream to DS#3! Congratulations!!!
