Timing of tuition payment for Scholarship

How does GoArmyEd pay for "fees" I understand they pay for tuition for ROTC cadets after we register our classes within the system. However, how is there a section where I can input the fees that are included in the scholarship?

The university cashiers office will usually encompass the bursar.

Also ask your ROO.

OK - we contacted the Bursar and we should be getting a deferment - they said to have the ROTC department send over my son's name. Thanks for all the helpful info. It is very much appreciated. Now, who is the Roo, just in case we need to go that route- l0l

The name should be on the ROTC section of the school website.

ROO is the Recruiting operations officer. Call the ROTC office and ask for him/her.

Even better, have your cadet make the call.

I would advise parents to require their children to sign those FERPA forms giving parents access to everything. Otherwise, you cannot see the bills and payments from bursar office, their midterm or final grades, their progress towards degree, semester and cumulative GPA, transcripts, nor can you speak to healthcare office if they have a medical need that arises.

I know for all of my daughter's these forms were on line, made it easy, once they "checked the box" of what I had access to or not, I could make calls, because it was usually my question, at least when it came to loans, payments etc! For all ROTC related business, I made my daughter call.
