Tips for a new CGA admissions partner?

They were looking for Academy Admissions Partners in my state so I volunteered. Took the test and will be doing all the training. I notice a lot of AAPs are here, and was looking any tips and guidance (the kind that's not necessarily in the training!) that you might care to share with a newbie. I think the AAP's prospective cadet interview report and recommendation for DD was the key to her appointment, so I have a great appreciation for the role and dedication of all the AAPs.
