I found out this morning. I got selected but I dont know what MAX I will be attending. The Cadre said to standby on the dates though because with the budget fiasco there can be some changes.... including shorter FT duration.

Congratulations everyone. I happened to be ouitside the ROTC building at Univ. South Carolina today as word came down. Loud cries of "Air Power" emanated from said building and having followed these threads for a while I knew exactly what was happening. Bravo Zulu.

It appears from the stats here, the academic trend of previous yrs has remained the same as the previous yrs.

For 100's your cgpa needs to be hitting that 3.0 marker at least.

Curious if any of the dets told cadets what the cgpa range was for this yr.

FWIW, remember your SFT ranking will be part of your AFSC board. Your PFT will be part of that SFT score.

A 2.68 non-tech got a slot in my Det!
 
I have to ask, if you don't mind what college you are attending?

2.68? Was there something that they (CoC) could overlook? Personal hardship maybe?

2.68 is riding close to the 2.5 min.

If others are correct, and 1700 was the 1st release(other thread), I am trying to grasp 2.68. What was their SAT/ACT?

SAT and ACT are part of the score. Were they 33 ACT or 1350 SAT? 90 AFOQT?

I am trying to wrap my cranium around the 2.7. UPenn, I get it, U of Timbucktoo, I don't. Unless....they have a high PFA and SAT to offset the gpa.

My GPA was 2.8. Non-tech, PFA 93. I know however that I had to have been one of the very top CC ranks. My SAT was 1110.

Pima, it had to have been the CC ranking. I mean 50%, come on. It makes or breaks these packages, especially when the other scores (GPA,PFA,SAT) don't stand too well on their own.

I will say this. If you are not from the south, you better start working out because July in Alabama is not pretty. It can be 100 degrees with 90% humidity. Running will feel like your lungs are inhaling fire.

You will get a rank out of SFT, and that rank will be 20% of your AFSC OML.

Congrats on getting the slot. Push hard, push forward. The risks and rewards are much greater as a 300.

non-tech major , 2.8 cumulative (3.4 and 3.3 last two semesters), 99 PFT, low ACT, middle third and still made it.

Granite that my cumulative was poor due to prior grades before ROTC and ACT was 6 years old ;-).
