Too late for DoDMERB waiver for USNA admission?

Is there a deadline for getting a DoDMERB waiver?
My daughter got a letter with guaranteed offer of appointment from USNA a month ago, and medical waiver was the only outstanding item. She has submitted all the requested documentation 2-3 months ago but nothing happens, and there is no feedback.
Is there still a hope to get the waiver?
She is very independent and handles everything on her own. But since she is not 18 yet, maybe some official steps from parents are necessary? None of us has been in a military, and entire process is new to her and us. Maybe additional documentation is required? According to her doctor, the issue is minor and, from his experience, is likely not a reason for waiver denial.
We would greatly appreciate any response and advice.

I am in the same boat as your daughter, conditional offer from USNA waiting on a waiver. I talked to an admissions counselor today in the USNA live chat, and I highly recommend you check that out. He told me that the conditional offer is the decision so the medical waiver is not bound by the next few weeks goal they have for getting out decision letters. The medical waiver process takes a while and to my understanding, they can go all the way up until I-Day to get a waiver, which is late June or early July. I doubt they will wait that long to give you a waiver decision, but you never know. I do not know what exactly what your portal says, but it sounds like you are just waiting, and there is nothing that you can really do. I am in the same boat :)

DoDMERB does NOT grant or deny medical waivers.

The USNA is the only authority to Grant or deny medical waivers for admission into the USNA:wiggle:

Thank you, Mr. Mullen!
I have very little understanding of the waiver process. Our daughter handles everything on her own.
Since she is under 18, her doctor's office prefers to talk to parents, especially when requesting info from them.
Would you recommend any specific steps or supply additional information? Shall we just wait?

Mr. Mullen, my ds has applied to usna and his status is still under review. We have expressed concern to his BGO that our DS has not started the DODMERBS physical yet. He was told that this yr is unusual and that it would not prevent a conditional offer. However, it seems like there is no time to get a physical through DODMERBS before plebe summer would start. Do you have any advice for us.
