My wife and I were having a great time at PW on Friday and were walking across the T-Zo towards Mitch's for lunch when this incredibly young-looking female cadet abruptly stopped walking and without a sound came to attention, faced the flag that was being lowered and saluted the colors. She was all alone and looked amazing in her uniform, strong, focused, disciplined. Representing all the good things about America. An unforgettable experience for anyone but especially for her mom and me. She has really grown in the last few months! A very moving moment in our lives which we will never forget! It reminded us to focus on the important things in life. I'm getting a little teary-eyed just thinking about it.
I would love to share the picture but can't figure out how to add it to this post. Anybody have more computer skills than me? (dumb question!!)
