Based upon what NAPS is for, my guess would be someone with very high test scores, several APs, leadership, and PFE.

NAPS is for someone the academy wants to appoint, but needs something polished up. Think about a prior enlisted, who has been out of the routine of school for a year or more, and needs to get back into the academic swing. Or someone who needs to hone a certain area. Lots and lots of threads about NAPS. It’s called a golden ticket, as appointment is almost guaranteed as long as the student doesn’t mess up.

I'm nervous about that too. I haven't heard anything but I'm CPR.

Only admissions knows, but if they follow the same course as last year (judging from the CPR list), it seems as though quite a few more TWEs will be issued than appointments, but BFEs are still possible. My first two kids were CPR until mid-April and got the TWE, although son was encouraged to reapply next cycle.

I am reapplying again, however, at this point, it is not my first choice anymore. Instead, I plan on trying to get my GPA up as much as possible and applying for Navy OCS when I graduate from college. I am currently working my way towards a BS in Mechanical Engineering, which should allow me to still be a fighter pilot, even if I go through OCS instead.
