Hey y'all,
I have been very blessed to recieve a 4 year national scholarship for AROTC at a public Ivy. I am now a sophomore (2nd year) and am struggling academically after trying everything. I am concerned it will negatively and severely affect my OML points for commissioning. Money is tight and I am paying for my own housing. I simply feel like ive had my peace here and am tempted to transfer.
I have begun a transfer application to a state university for Fall 2023 that has cheaper housing costs and is a little closer to home. I will soon be discussing this decision with my PMS and MS teacher... but id love to hear from y'all first... any advice or opinions would be great... will the college I graduate from affect my OML in any way or my competitiveness for branching? Ive told a few people about this and they are just very dissapointed in me so my vision is kind of blurred now but want it to be my own decision.
