Trench coat bleeding onto white dress uniform

Is there anything you can do to stop a brand new black army trench coat from bleeding onto a white dress shirt collar? It states that is it dry clean only but seems like a waste to get a brand new coat dry cleaned. DS doesn't like that it's making black marks on his white collars. Any solutions?

get it dry cleaned....it will probably get rid of any excess dyes in the coat.
