Navy loses to a blocked extra point in overtime. North Texas is now the only Division I school to never have played an overtime game. Navy was the other. Passing looked better. Tulsa played a tough game. Stopped our running very effectively.

I went to the game with my son BUT we left at kickoff after watching the brigade march in and the flyover. He had his shoulder surgery on Thursday and didn't feel too bad yesterday but after we got into the stands he started feeling pretty crummy and thought he might get sick so I thought it best to get him to the hotel and into bed. Oh well at least I got to experience part of it and still have a few more years after this to get up for a game. After his surgery, 6 weeks in a sling, 6 months rehab and then he should be ready for spring football.

Everyone pray that Navy wins by the spread...if so, I will be the Brigade XO next Wednesday

Careful, because even if you win, you WON'T be the Brigade XO next Thursday!

But one day is more than I ever had five stripes. I think I did have four on hundredth night though.

I'll be careful. I'm only gonna use the stripes for carry-on and media privileges, not to push around my upperclassmen. I will also get to take his place in brigade formation and carry his sword. Will make really cool pictures for my mom.

And BEAT AIR FORCE WEEK officialy begins when the UConn game ends! Gonna be a great week.

Well, Sandie, you got it. Congratualtions. Is it just for noon meal formation or do you get to do the parade also? We were always under the impression that the height of our marching skills were at the end of plebe summer so I am sure you will add to the military bearing of the brigade staff. Post a picture for us, also. Again, congratulations, you made a good bet.
