Okay so as the title says I have two questions of very different importance. My first and most important question is when will the report date be for The Citadel this summer? My second question which is really important at all I'm just curious but are you allowed to have a 3-D printer at The Citadel?

Thank you in advance.

The report date last year for knobs was 14 August. This year will be +/- that. As far as the 3D printer. The Citadel will have a Matriculation page setup for the Class of 2025 on their website. This site should be up by early/mid-summer. The Citadel will provide you with a list of what to bring. Bring what is on the list. (nothing more/nothing less) You are allowed a laser/ink-jet printer, but I have never seen a 3D on the list. Just curious, why do you need a 3D printer?

You picked a great school - congrats and please let me know if you have any other questions about The Citadel. My DS is finishing up his knob year. Other members that are very knowledgeable about The Citadel are @glen and @phil61526!

@EEBTTF thank you. I know the 3D printer is a weird question, but I'm just curious as to if I can have it while at The Citadel. Thank you again.
You may be able to have it, but I would wait until the lists comes out. The Citadel has 3D printers that you will have access to.

I'll check with 'a guy I know' down there but even if allowed not sure I'd bring it knob year. Having done "blue shirt army' a couple times and being a grad myself you REALLY don't want stuff that's not on the list.

While it might be allowed, then again it might not, boots on the ground signal definitely NOT A GOOD IDEA.

Now there is something to be said for bad ideas making great alumni stories ...
