I am in the process of applying to the USNA and USMA. I was diagnosed at a young age with Type 1 Duane's Syndrome. Has it been possible for past candidates to acquire a medical waiver for this condition, and, if so, is there anything I can do prior to the physical that will help with the waiver process? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Duane's syndrome in and of itself, is NOT a DQ. That said, the underlying aspects "may" be.
So, I won't presume you will be DQd and "if" you are considered for a medical waiver, the waiver authorities will specify exactly what they want, "if" they need help in rendering their decision.
