Types of ROTC Scholarships

Can you link that other thread? Hoping to still hear that my daughter's 3 year has changed to 3.5 or 4 year with the third board, but nothing on her portal yet so am thinking that means "no". Still Very thankful for the three year though!

Offers went out / portals updated Friday for 3rd board winners.

Is there such a thing as a "congressional AROTC scholarship"? My DD is apparently being considered for something like that, which came in a rather unusual way and without her looking for it.

As I anxiously wait for the third selection board to convene on 3/19, I was wondering if someone could explain to me the different types of ROTC Scholarships. Thank you!

UPDATE: I'm looking for an explanation to the different types (tiers?) of Army ROTC scholarships as I have very little knowledge pertaining to the subject. Thank you!

My DS just received an email yesterday from the 4 year college ROTC officer that he was awarded a 4 year AROTC scholarship in addition to a grant from the college that will cover the room and board for ROTC scholarship winners. This is his "plan B" , his "plan A" is to still receive an appointment to USMA.

Just learned that daughter was upgraded from three year to four year army rotc scholarship. Lesson for me to be patient.

When my son logs in, he can't even see his dashboard or application- it is all grayed out... It just has information on how to apply for next year. I am guessing that is not a good sign. Wish he could have seen something concrete so he can go more firmly to plan B. Any thoughts?
