Kage was a classmate of mine at USAFA and we also went through pilot training together. He was one of the most genuine and gregarious dudes I've ever known. Anyone who knows him would say he is someone they aspired to be like. He will be sorely missed by all of those who knew him. Man, this one hurts. Here's a toast...

Nothing could be more true. He’s an amazing guy. He was my roommate during the summer, helped me through aero engineering almost every day, and a great squad commander for our squad senior year. Truly a transformational leader and great friend.
