Ugh DODMERB

Did you already have an account created? I created one, but it just keeps saying my login is unsuccessful.

I think that now that it's up and running, the login we created during the down phase didn't take so our DD created a new one and now his record is updated on the website.

We were prompted to create a new one, but in the end the website let him reuse his old password. He tried several passwords repeatedly before it let him log in.

My son's exams sent from DODMETS to DoDMERB on 11/21 and still no results posted or any updates on status despite numerous emails to DoDMERB. Went through DoDMERB process last year with another son and it was painless couple week process for determination. We are at almost eight weeks now with no determination. I sure hope we won't need a waiver!

I can see why a candidate might accept that scholarship to college and maybe opt for ROTC later than risk being DQed by SA or have to pay college out-of-pocket if you cannot get medically qualified by ROTC deadlines this year. Hopefully my son will hear something soon!

How did he create one during the down phase? I just created one for the first time and my login is unsuccessful.
It might have been a moment when it was up and then down again( near the beginning of the crash). But retrying again with his SSN and DOB worked. So if anyone is unsuccessful logging in, try the create new account option. That what my son did.And now he's on it.

I just spoke with CIV over the phone and they said the DODMERB site has been down for the last several weeks and just came back up today. The information on the site may not be accurate because they had to process a lot manually. She asked me to wait another day or two to refresh for the latest information.

Choosing to remain positive. Can’t imagine appointments to SA’s without being medically qualified. Not even sure that CAN happen? As an appointment is contingent on being fully qualified (including medical).

ROTC programs? That’s noting new. There are people every year, who have started their programs, having received a ROTC scholarship, who then move forward through DODMERB, and some not qualifying. And then looking at continuing at their school, or having to transfer due to having to pay OOP.

We still have a few months. I have faith!!!

Thank you for this info! Do you mind providing the # you called to reach the CIV team? My son needs to get ahold of them as they need to correct his SSN that was entered incorrectly so his file from Sept can be matched up….

They offer do conditional appointments before medical. My son had a classmate who had an LOA to West Point. The classmate, a year ago, had a heart condition such that he passed out while running and woke up in the emergency room. So he had the LOA before a DQ that will not receive a waiver.
