This may be my favorite thread. Not because we all know the only way KPers get ladies is searching for them online (at least they've graduated from creepy AOL chat rooms "A/S/L?".

This reminds me of when I was a desperate 3/c or 2/c cadet. Single guy, a few failed relationships. A captain provided a power point to his co-workers to find a cadet to take his daughter to a dance.

Well, I listened, and she was cute, but he WAS a captain. At some point I decided to make a move. I walked into the captain's office, talked to him and found out she had already been asked. So he got up and walked in my direction. I didn't know what he was doing... maybe coming in for a hand shake? I was standing at the door, and realized he was really just walking towards me to leave the room. I pivoted to let him out (pivoting on my right leg and swinging my left leg out). As I did that I slammed my back into his door. On his door was an "in and out" bin (slots) for his mail. When I slammed into it, I broke it in half and it fell to the floor.

The captain was fine, not angry, but wow, talk about traumatic. Asking someone's daughter to a dance based off of a powerpoint is difficult enough. Having the father be a captain makes it harder. Breaking parts of his office tops the cake.

Don't worry fellows, after she finds out what her Dad just did, she will kill him. So start thinking about something creative to do on a death row date:eek:

Since im obviously the Gentlemen of the group, Ill start off with a private dinner for 2 in her cell with take out Italian food with a plastic spork (no real forks and knives in prison), with some nice music from the local jail choir. Get a nice table in the cell with flowers in the middle and candles if the Warden allows.

Ill turn it into a nice evening. negativestability13 has nothing on me!

nucwarrent, it appears you can take emergency tug off your list of possible suitors. Not for his quaint jail Date idea but his lack of respect for another of our regular posters.

Thats interesting ....so its respectful to come into another Academy's forum and make fun of the midshipman and how they get dates.

I was thinking "respect" is something completely different this whole time. I blame my parents.

It's so nice to laugh at a forum posting today...I must say our mids are amazing under pressure and I have no doubt they will more than thrive in ANYTHING they desire......:yllol:
