Ultimate Sacrifice - Lt Robert W Collins, USMA Class of 2008

Robert Collins was a tremendous individual. He could always be counted on to make you laugh -- a smile was never enough. As the family he was born to, and the family he joined at West Point say good-bye to him we mourn the loss of possibility that existed within him. Be thou at peace, Robert.

Robert's parents have begun a Memorial Scholarship fund in his honor. Please help us distribute this document to raise awareness of Robert's story and the 1LT Robert Wilson Collins Patriot Spirit Scholarship fund. Prayers and good thoughts to this wonderful young man's family and friends. He will always be remembered, honored and loved. God bless him.

Thank God for the brave members of the military who shed their blood for our freedom.

Should this be in the other section?

RIP soldier, my condolences.

Generally said in law enforcement circles:

Step forward now, my warrior, You've born your burdens well, Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets, You've done your time in Hell.

RIP, terribly sad...

I have often wondered why these deaths in action are not always posted in SAF the way they are on College Confidential, I guess its because there are lots of parents around who are worried enough withough seeing them all the time, but I dont know, I think it would be fitting to have a memorial sticky in one of the sections where the sacrifice of so many young grads over the last few years can be marked...
