Understanding nomination code

Recently my DS opened his portal and saw RGARM for his nomination. Does anyone know what it is? I for sure thought it would be a FL nomination.

I believe RGARM is Sec of the Army. Does that make sense?

I assume your son is an enlisted soldier. The RGARM probably means that USMA received the Commander's Endorsement, which counts as a nomination.

If he also applied to his congressman and senators, he may still get those nominations as well.
