UNG wins MacArthur Foundation Award

COL Brent Cummings, Professor of Military Science at the University of North Georgia, is pleased to announce that the UNG Corps of Cadets is the recipient of the coveted MacArthur Foundation Award for the best ROTC Unit in the 1st Brigade, United States Army Cadet Command. The 1st Brigade is comprised of the nation's six Senior Military Colleges. The MacArthur Award recognizes the top 8 senior Army ROTC programs each year with 7 other Brigades representing the other 270 units at colleges and universities around the country. Congratulations to the men and women of the UNG Boars Head Brigade, and kudos to the Professor of Military Science and Commandant teams at UNG for their dedicated work as well.
