I submitted my NROTC Scholarship prior to finishing my university applications. I was awarded the 4 year and I was offered the scholarship to the 5 schools I had selected at the time. If, in March, I am accepted to the school I did not select on the ROTC application, can I use the transfer form for that school even though it isn't on the list? Also, is it advised to reach out to the detachment at that school to see if they have any openings or wait to see if accepted? Thank you

If I am reading this the right way, there is a chance you get accepted to a college/university which was not on your list of 5 colleges when you submitted your NROTC application.

You can request a transfer to other colleges if they have openings. Right now, ERAU and San Diego State are capped.

But to be absolutely sure of this, you should ask at the email address which was listed in your notification email from Naval Service Training Command.
