For me personally, CAP was never really my cup of tea. I felt like CAP had a really bad habit of doing things only one way and if you tried to do it another way you would be looked at differently and passed over for opportunities. I personally think that what CAP taught me wont be applicable to the military.

I'm assuming you mean 2015. I know mine was sometime in the 1st week of November, I just put 1 NOV because that's what I remember - could be wrong, but close enough.

I'm a C/2d Lt in CAWG. I accepted my appointment for the USAFA c/o 2020 (1st try, not a reapplicant). Most people think CAP will get you in the academy, but doing only CAP is not enough. It's a great addition to the resume, but by itself is not strong enough for an appointment. Here are my stats as requested:

GPA: 4.1
SAT: 2030 (M+CR)
Sports: Varsity Wrestling team captain, tennis, basketball, baseball, football
ECA's: Private Pilot, Boy's State, Debate Club, Model UN
CAP: Mitchell, Encampment Honor Cadet, Cadet Officer of the Year for home squadron, and much more.
