Sen. Cornyn's recognition ceremony for newly appointed Texas SA cadets and midshipmen is on Memorial Day, May 31, in Austin.

Who's planning to be there?!? :thumb:

I guess they got the list from the SA's. Didn't ask for it, didn't get her nomination from him.

Eh...Austin's many hours away. I don't think I'll be able to go. I have school the day after. :/
 
hmmmmm......no invitation to the ceremony......perhaps because nomination came from the "other" Senator.....jk

I think that if you did not receive an invitation is was just an oversight. I know from attending last year that the appointees came from all the nomination sources. I would suggest you call Sen. Cornyn's Austin office and ask about it. Last year the person in his office who coordinated the event was Karen Nicholson and her number was (512) 469-6034. I do not know if she is still in his office, but that is his Austin office number so somebody there should be able to give you information. It was a good event and well worth attending if the distance isn't too far.
