USAFA 3Q

DS received a letter from USMA sating he is "academically, physically, and medically" qualified. The problem is he has noms to USNA and USAFA. Is it safe to assume he would be 3Q at USAFA or USNA, or are the standards different by that much at each academy?

USAFA does not send letters to inform candidates of 3Q, nor is it really ever safe to assume anything. However, I would say that if your DS has everything submitted and has met all of the posted averages for USAFA, he is likely in a decent spot. The best you can do now is put it on the back burner and wait.
