USAFA Admissions =

1. As a result of Corona Virus (COVID-19), there is minimum "in-office" manning, but Admissions is up and teleworking.

2. Applicants/appointees should know that they are still processing applications for the Class of 25 and finalizing the candidate requirements for the Class of 24. They are still working to bring in a class this summer.

IMPORTANT NOTE – While the Air Force Academy is currently closed to visitors, the Selections Division in the Office of Admissions is open and processing applications. For current candidates to the Class of 2024 we expect to have decisions out for direct entry into the Academy by the 21st of April. We will continue to work offers to the Preparatory School and Falcon Foundation into May.

I was hoping to hear by the end of the month, here's to another 3 weeks of waiting... nothing that can be done however with the current situation.

My DS received the same update via the portal. Admittedly seeing all red font threw me initially (prior to reading it) 😳.
 
This is the message on the portal for appointees:
IMPORTANT NOTE – While the Air Force Academy is currently closed to visitors, the Selections Division in the Office of Admissions is open and processing appointee forms. As appointees to the Class of 2024, we encourage you to complete your Appointee Kits as soon as possible. This will greatly assist Admissions and the Academy to prepare for in-processing.

Hopefully they are able to start BCT on time, it'd suck if it got pushed back.
