USAFA Admissions Postcard

Anyone else get a little postcard saying that "your admission's file is now complete?"

I've had my app done for over a month now, have my nomination, and I'm cleared by the DODMERB. Does this mean that my file in now going to the admissions panel, or has it already gone to panel (I talked with my Admissions Counselor at the USAFA before break and he said he would have it to panel that Friday before they left for winter break, but maybe it didn't since NOW this little postcard came)

My son received one of those. It just means your file is complete. Hang in there.
 
I got that a couple weeks before I got my appointment. My application had been done since October, so I'm not sure what that means.

And you got you appointment only a few days ago correct? Hmm well I guess I'll have to wait and see like everyone else ;)
 
I got that same card, except at the same time as I received my appointment package. Hang in there!
 
did you get any other indication of your appointment before that? just wondering :)
 
If you want an up to date status of your application, you need to check the website. Before I received my appointment I remember checking the site obsessively, at least twice a day. But the postcard is really redundant and outdated. By the time my application was complete, according to the postcard, I have already received my LOA about a week earlier. But just to reiterate, the website is all you need.
 
Yeah I talked to a admissions councelor today and got my question answered. Thanks :D
