Woke up at my usual 5AM for my ROTC LLAB to see that I haven't received an appointment (yet). Assuming this is true for most people, and considering the trend they are 4-5 days behind, I would say that we should expect to maybe see the big wave next week.

Not saying this to make people over-analyze or create any cause for speculation, just to make people at ease that the majority of us are in the same boat and to not hold their breath.

Do you think if you get accepted, you'll probably get some announcement about it during closing reports at LLAB? Or would you say it's either just the phone call, email, and/or LOA?

honestly, I don't know. I highly doubt they would say something at LLAB, and it would just be the email. However, I don't know if they would call me before hand similar to the congressmen if I get in at the hand of the AFROTC nom. If that makes sense

Thank you!! I'm super excited and really nervous as I expect we all are...

I received a phone call from my congressional office 2 days prior to the letter appearing on my portal. Ironically, they called while I was in calculus class and I was not allowed to answer so I had to wait an agonizing 4 hours until school ended so I could call them back!

*Edit-- My appointment was offered back in January. I only discovered this forum last week!

My appointment was offered over 8 weeks ago and even after I accepted, I haven't received anything in the mail yet. I understand the USPS has been having some trouble lately but I haven't been able to confirm whether USAFA has sent them yet or if mine is stuck in the postal system somewhere.

I doubt they even send things in the mail anymore. It is nice to have something physical to show for it, but it doesn't add anything. You can find out everything you need online.
