Is there time during orientation to get AF logo stuff and if so where do you buy it at - bookstore?
 
The visitor's center has tons of stuff and the money supports AF athletics. You can also get stuff online from them.

Don't know if an appointee is authorized to shop in the Cadet Store ("C store") but there is stuff there also. Maybe the host cadet would take the appointee there but I doubt parents would go to the store so the visitor's center is probably your best bet.

AF Swimming shirts are only at the visitor's center - not at C store.
 
I would think the appointee could go to the cadet store if the cadet they are shadowing has the time to take them there. During Parent's Weekend you can go to the cadet store and they do have some different stuff than the Visitor's Center. There is also a gift shop in the Field House but I'm not sure of their hours. The AOG has stuff as well both at Doolittle Hall and online. Lots of places to spend your money.

My son picked me up a squadron patch from the uniform shop.
 
I'll be down there on the 12th and 13th, but I'll be driving b/t Denver so no hotel.

This was bugging me last night, so:

Do we get a cot or something to sleep on in the dorms? I've gone on recruit trips for swimming, some of which I sleep on a couch, others on a bed, and one on the floor.
 
You can only shop at the C store if you have some type of identification. So probably best if you are with a cadet. A prox, CAC, or dependent ID will all work.
