USAFA Prep Calendar Acronyms

Newbie questions:

Does anyone know what the M and T stand for on the USAFA Prep calendar for Class of 2021? Each day seems to have the letter M or T with a number preceding it...

Also, PS Pass or PS Leave... first what does PS stand for and then what is the difference between Pass and Leave?

Finally, why do they have transition days? Are these travel dates?
 
Those refer to class days, start with M homework assignments for the first day, then do T assignments for the next school day, the AFA uses
this exactly system, do not know PS Pass or Leave...sorry
 
The Academy works on a split schedule. My DS High School is A Day / B Day, USAFA is M Day / T Day. The number represents the class session number. USAFA runs on a semester system, and Prep looks to run on a quarter system. The last day of a class in Prep school would be T20 and the last day at USAFA would be T40.

PS means Prep School to my knowledge. I only see the 2019-2020 schedule here: https://www.usafa.edu/app/uploads/PL_2019-2020_Calendar.pdf

Using that as a guide, LEAVE would be school holidays. Without added context, PASS could mean several things.
