Due to the Coronavirus wreaking havoc on the College Board's testing schedule.
Also mentioned is a lawsuit filed in late 2019 alleging these tests discriminate against minority students.
Can the Service Academies be far behind?? We'll see...

Wonder what else they’ll use to evaluate applicants then
Academically (which represents 60% of the admissions criterial), nothing else is reliable. Some schools inflate grades, many schools have different grading systems and GPA calculation methods, and many schools no longer class rank. I'm betting that the SAT and ACT will be back in some form (social distanced, small groups in each classroom, etc.) by the fall and the SA's will continue to use them as a MAJOR part of their admissions process for the foreseeable future.
