USCGA 2024 Regular Decision

I had attended an admissions workshop on Staten Island, NY a few months ago and my AO said that I would here about a decision mid-January. Does anyone know if the Academy is doing rolling decisions, for RD, or all on April 1st?
If RD is anything like EA, it was anyone's guess. A lot of speculation went around but at the end of the day, nobody on here really knew when anything was going to be announced. From my experience, it seemed that the made DECISIONS based on a rolling concept, however, the actual notification of those decisions came toward the very end - trickling out slowly over the course of a few weeks. Some applicants received phone calls informing them of their appointment during that two week time frame, however, almost everyone received their decision in a mass release on their Bears Den email that went out all at once on Dec. 20 - just a few days before the end of the notification period. It was a very long and stressful wait. To be completely fair, regardless what someone says on here, including me - the reality is that nobody really knows how they will handle it. Also, those of us who have been deferred to RA have been waiting since September to hear back. It’s tough but we all will know by April 1st.
