Just received an invitation to the USCGA Academy Experience. From my understanding this is for applicants who have a full or conditional appointment, however, there is nothing on my portal indicating that I have an appointment. Is it safe to say that I do have an appointment because I have received this email and the portal just has not updated?

My son participated in the "Cadet for a Day" program when he was in H.S. a few years ago (this was his 3rd attempt to receive an appointment and he got it this time) and so we have opted to forego the AEP program (travel time and costs and the need to miss classes here at the university he currently attends were also factors).
