Does anyone know when the USCGA generally begins sending out who has been accepted to the AIM?

In my son's confirmation email stating that his application was complete and received, it stated that notifications for AIM would begin being sent out in mid-May.

You'll typically find out sometime in mid April if memory serves me well.

    Application Deadline is now 4/15

DS received email Friday evening stating that the application deadline has been extended until April 15. Home page for the Academy says the same thing. My understanding is that UCGA sends out acceptance letters for AIM at one time, not rolling acceptances like the other academies. I didn't see anything in either the email or the web site indicating when applicants will be notified of whether or not they've been accepted. I do know Admissions has a lot of work to do in reviewing applications - I've seen less involved college applications.
