USCGA Boxing?

First off, hello! I’ve found this forum very helpful
I’ve joined now to ask a question:

Does the CGA offer a boxing team or club? The most I’ve found are YouTube videos almost a decade old. Unfortunately no mention of it in any literature I’ve received in the mail.

I am pretty new to boxing, but as an applicant for the class of 2027, it would be nice to continue that activity should I be accepted (I’ll know soon!). However I f the Academy does not offer boxing, I know full well they will fill that time with another sport, or more likely I will continue to run XC.

Yes! It is a club sport though!

Yes, there's one (club sports); they started it back up this year after being dormant for a few years. They train at a local gym where the 1/c drive everyone else there.

Yes but they are not allowed to hit each other on campus or compete. Hitting is contrary to a culture of respect for others.

I believe they receive little to no funding and pay there own way at the boxing gym.
