Congratulations to those that were notified in March for RA. Was wondering if you had an interview?

Dear (my name),
Congratulations on your appointment to the United States Coast Guard Academy! "

I am so excited, was waiting for this.

Now the big challenge to pick one - USCGA, USNA(LOA), USAFA, AROTC (4 years), AFROTC (4 years).

Easy there cowboy... some applicants are on this forum praying that they will merely get one of those. There is really no need for the sarcastic "big challenge" comment when some people are up at night worrying about their fate.

Not being sarcastic @23Lt....my best wishes to all .... I was preparing for this for last 5 years and only I know, how much I had to sacrifice and how much effort I have put in. I am enjoying my success. And this is no Fluke....

Best of Luck to all !

Best wishes to you, but everyone else that has applied and are waiting to hear results have also sacrificed and put great effort into their applications. You are implying that they haven't. Don't gloat over your success- it diminishes what you have achieved.

According to his previous posts his GPA is 3.3. That isn't something to brag about...

There have been plenty of people who have been sacrificing for more than 5 years and have not been successful.

Also, I see you've already accepted your USNA appointment so you apparently already made your choice...

Yes, final decision now... based on the major I want to pursue.

Congratulations @dgusafa, and sorry for any unpleasant replies that you have received. It is true, I (and many others) are desperately hoping for similar news, but this is no reason for us to not be able to celebrate with you!

Not really a comment that is necessary. Anyone who has that many appointments obviously has what the Academies want and they should be proud of it. Being a good teammate means being grateful for everyone’s success.
