What does "undecided" mean? Deferred to regular admissions?

The candidate has received an appointment offer, but has not decided if they are going to accept the offer of Appointment. This is common when a student may be applying to all 5 SA and they are waiting on a higher choice, or other civilian school.

So offered admission by the USCGA but undecided if they will go?

You are correct. Having not seen the appointment offer, I cannot say for sure, but in general students have until 1 May to accept or decline. This creates challenges for the school as they seek to fill the class. As a result, they will extend more appointment offers than seats available as they plan on students declining as the cycle marches closer to the deadline.

Thanks for starting this thread, @21MomSalute. Since the list is still relatively small, it would be interesting to see what majors each accepted student applied for/was accepted with. Maybe along the lines of: 1) 2024Bearr / Self / 12/10/2019 / ORCA / Accepted

Congrats to those accepted so far!

2) SwimMom24 / DD / 12/10/2019/ Undecided awaiting DODMERB waiver
3) HCopter/DD/12/10/2019/No LOA/TX/Undecided
4) ProudMom7/ DD / 12/10/2019 / MES / Awaiting DODMERB waiver

Might I also suggest that "LOA" or "no LOA" be eliminated? It seems to me that it's confusing (i.e. easy to confuse with Letter of Appointment) and doesn't add anything at the stage in which people are posting appointments. In sum, doesn't an appointment moot an LOA?

@THmom , yes she has 4 but again could be many factors why.

In the past, DIY lists have included LOA or none and state; but whatever the market demands, so feel free to adjust mine and add Cyber going forward.
