USCGA Class of 2024 Appointment Thread

There is a nice certificate in the appointment package (BFE) and orders to report, but most of the forms are online to fill out and other info and handbooks are online and you will be directed to the website for your incoming class.

Just remember how proud we are when he/she found out he/she was accepted. My DS got a call during school exam. His teacher said, “... you have a call from uscga, you want to take it?” He received the call around 10am. He messaged me at 12noon. Hold on to that feeling. CGAfamily is awesome, and of course CGA Photos from face book and live stream. Less than 2 months to Billet night and less than 4 months to graduation!! But I misses him just as much!

Just got home to...
...a whole lotta nothin'

My DS doesn't even check the mailbox anymore. Even he got tired of the junk mail and bills we get! We do have a nice gratuity taped up inside our door and ready to go for our mail deliver person when something arrives. I told my wife it would be good "karma" to tip them.

Not to get to excited (too late), but we are tracking a package from New London, CT in our USPS informed delivery account. It left New London on 1/14 and is expected to be delivered tonight (1/16) by 8pm. It's too big to be scanned and doesn't list the sender so we don't know what it is...........but hopeful it's the BFE! Be on the lookout! 😊
