The recent flurry matches the last anticipated (significant) inflection point until the dust settles around 1 May when admissions knows who has accepted and what remaining slots they have to give. If you look at the prior two classes, a few appointments will go out between now and the May 1 milestone.

Unfortunately that appears to be the case. Looks like it’ll be plan B for me, still a great future lined up. Congrats to those who received appointments!

Thank you for all the work on this Shiner. This is great! Curious though, the video posted by the RADM of the academy says that they intend to notify every applicant of their status by 1 April. Is this different than years past? If so then the pattern of appointments may change. Regardless, I'm grateful they are shooting for that. Assuming they make this goal, all those patiently waiting should have an idea within the week. The wait is excruciating but knowing you will have an answer soon helps. Congrats to all who've been offered an appointment and best of luck to those waiting!

Yes, we are entering into an interesting phase of SA admissions. Schools need an answer by 1 May. In general, they want to get their appointments offered NLT 1 APR to give the candidate 30 days to accept or decline. There are three buckets for candidates - YES/NO/MAYBE. Those in the MAYBE list could receive a TWE but receive a later call to offer an appointment. It's complicated. You want candidates to pursue Plan B, but "no" may mean not right now... until it means yes... However, this is a small number of candidates.

Any student receiving a TWE should expect no to mean no.

Occasionally, a candidate will get a call late in the game as the school sees that they can fill a few more slots because there were last minute declines.
 
So basically it appears that the last 10 or so they made are probably it. Does the "we regret to inform you" notice come out on the Bears Den or do we just assume if we haven't heard by April 1 we haven't made the cut?

This is only showing the people who have self-reported, though, right? So we don't know really know how many spots are still open - could be 200! But not likely....

This is your guess and nothing else. The deadline is a week away. Past patterns are meaningless as every admission cycle is different. The great unknown ifs we have no idea how many prospective candidates are on this site. Just let the cards fall where they may instead of making guesses with the perception of authority.

Keep in mind, the list here is currently only at 62 out of the 350 or so tenders that will be made to fill the class. No one except admissions knows how many have gone out so far since not everyone is on this forum. Stay positive and hope for the best. Unfortunately, everything here is just speculation unless it comes from an actual admissions member. I strongly encourage anyone who doesn’t make it this time to consider self prep at Marion. Best of luck to everyone still waiting.

For EA they came in Bear's Den. I would expect every applicant will have some letter in Bear's Den by that date.
