Interesting side note - IF 350 total were offered out, and we are aware of 69, the USCGA forum appears to have 20% visibility of the applicant pool compared to the estimated 10% of the larger SA. I personally believe the number to be higher, but it is a good data point for future classes as a gauge of appointment offer progress.

As for my daughter, who is also an EA Deferral, has not received word yet.

Her back up plan is to go to Georgia Military College and then transfer to the Academy. GMC is recognized by the USGA for Transferring Cadets.

And all stay healthy during this unprecendented time in our life time.

My Daughter currently attends GMC as USAFA Scholar.
Alot of Coasties attend GMC.
It's a gorgeous campus.
If your kiddo or yourself wants more information she is happy to share and parlay.

Your DS should have received a "Statement of Acceptance and Obligation" that is included with his Appointment Certificate if I remember correctly (although it has been 10 years since I received mine

). It is basically a contract that must be read and signed by your DS (and a Parent/Guardian if he is under the age of 18). Now, the Bear's Den wasn't really a thing when I applied but it is possible that form is also included in his Bear's Den account.

You are welcome! That being said, because you are on a tight timeline, I would call Admissions and advise them that you are looking to accept the appointment but want to clarify how to do so since you have not received anything in the mail.
