USAFA - I'm still waiting to hear back from USMA, but if I receive it I will also turn it down. Didn't receive nom for USNA. Hope me turning USCGA and USMA down makes someone's day, as it opens up a slot for someone else

Ok, I am sorry for updating this late. I did not realize the "prep" status in the last column! It has been a wild ride and we are elated for our twin DDs. Thanks to this community and wealth of knowledge...best wishes for all.

Both were accepted to WVU, Ohio State, and Notre Dame and also received appointments to USMA, USMMA, the type 7 4-year AFROTC, and the 3-year AROTC to ND and WVU. One twin was appointed to USAFA, while the other withdrew her application because she knew it was the other's first choice at that time. (Hey, ALL the academies have been their first choice at some point. LOL.) They are extremely close on paper. Each received 6 nominations. (USNA was last on their nomination list and they received no noms...weirdly, they recently received medical waivers.)

This is for full appointments to USCGA only. I believe your DDs have CGAS appointments. The reference to Prep in the last column indicates appointees to USCGA who attending last years CGAS program.

What I'm referring to is a select group of schools (basically Ivy-plus) that AFROTC has designated for this upgrade to Tier 1. Notre Dame is on that list. See link below.

Ok, I am sorry for updating this late. I did not realize the "prep" status in the last column! It has been a wild ride and we are elated for our twin DDs. Thanks to this community and wealth of knowledge...best wishes for all.

Both were accepted to WVU, Ohio State, and Notre Dame and also received appointments to USMA, USMMA, the type 7 4-year AFROTC, and the 3-year AROTC to ND and WVU. One twin was appointed to USAFA, while the other withdrew her application because she knew it was the other's first choice at that time. (Hey, ALL the academies have been their first choice at some point. LOL.) They are extremely close on paper. Each received 6 nominations. (USNA was last on their nomination list and they received no noms...weirdly, they recently received medical waivers.)
