I would think that LOAs would be reviewed early in the board process.

We still schedule LOA recipients for review in order of completion, but I believe your daughter (and grevar's son) was reviewed at Admissions Committee today. Both were approved for full appointments, so they should be getting some form of official notification in the near future.

Would an applicant for EA 1 ( with completed application) know the status of his application over the next few weeks?

Most Early Action Group One (EA1) applicants will be notified of their status approximately one month after they receive the e-mail confirming their record is complete and being forwarded to the Cadet Candidate Evaluation Board for review. Could be a little faster or slower than that, depending upon the timing of federal holidays and Admissions Committee, but all EA1 applicants will definitely be notified by 12/24.

Two quick questions:
Is it true you focus for LOSa on recruited atheletes and the top 1% academic rated for LOA considerations first?

Do you know how do the other academies line-up with this process, USNA & USAFA?
