USCGA Prep School LOA

Hello!

Our DS went to AIM this summer and really enjoyed the experience. Shortly afterwards, he got a call from the USCGA stating that they are offering him LOA for the USCGA Prep School, but that he would also be considered for the USCGA when he files his application. Since this is our first experience, I am wondering how the LOA to Prep School works. Also, it was a verbal, haven't seen anything written, so we are wondering about the whole thing. Anyone else experience the same?

maybe your best bet would be to call/email the person that was offering the LOA and see what they say - i would assume you would have been mailed a letter stating this - maybe you never received it for whatever reason - maybe lost in the mail - i do know with regular LOA's you're told in the letter to respond that you are accepting it
