I suppose it's just the nature of these things. They're extremely busy this time of year I presume. Regardless, having spoken to previous cadets I've been told they send notifications to the waitlist that the time period is over. Not sure how true that is so take it with a grain of salt.

DS is way into Plan B. Fwiw, honestly we expected better communication from a Service Academy...

My son was on the waitlist for USCGA. He never got notification that it was closed. Just assumed since 7/1 came and went that he was a no. As of yesterday still had the waitlist letter in his portal. Not sure today with application reopening.
