Beautiful morning in New London CT.
The Holiday Inn is a decent hotel with nice rooms and great staff, very happy staying here.
Look out, planning torrential rains starting later today.
The long drive from hell though, for various reasons we are flying in and out of Baltimore. OMG the roads and traffic last night were horrendous!!

Try driving back to USNA on Thanksgiving Weekend. A nightmare.

We have generally been staying HI in New London. They have a CGA rate. In the past, when NL full we have stayed in HI Mystic and Norwich. Both are about 8-10 min drive, both very nice and nice staff. Neither have CGA rate. Mystic includes breakfast, but Norwich seemed much nicer.

And try driving anywhere in New England Thanksgiving weekend. 95 is generally a parking lot. Since we live several hours west, I've looped to the north and had better luck. Our cadet has a vehicle this year, so it's his problem.
