USMA 7th transcript

Our school has notified seniors that the 7th semester transcript (basically up to end of 1st sem of senior year) will be finalized on 1/21 or 1/20 (it was either one of these dates but I forgot which one it exactly was) and the 7th transcript will be sent to all the colleges that I applied to (of course, this includes USMA) after when it gets finalized on that date.

Would this cause an issue or any issues in my application? (ex. would this lower chance of being appointed because of the transcripts that are being finalized late in January?)

I've completed everything including CFA in early December.

I do have the nomination and have not received 3Q letter or LOA yet. Only thing that is marked red on my application is just the 7th semester transcript. I have completed/done everything I could do, and I just need the school to send in transcript to change that red mark to a green.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm worried because I remember someone has said in one of the previous thread that USMA has posted info regarding to sending out LOAs (I think?) in upcoming week....
 
I would not worry, the bulk of the appointments come Feb-April (from what I was told). Kids getting appointed early are usually recruited athletes or Pres. or Jrotc nominates. We have a friend who applied in Sept and his MOC gave him a nom in Oct (some are faster than others). He received his appointment early, whereas my son applied earlier but just recently received his nom and waiting.

My DS is in the same boat exactly (grades will be released at the end of this week). He contacted his FFR because he received his 3Q letter at the beginning of December and his nomination in November but now has the red mark for 7th semester grades. He was told that many are in this sittuation and that this will not hinder his chances at all and not to worry about it. Hope that helps:)
 
Does everyone receive this notification about sending 7th semester transcripts in? I see above it says it was sent out to over 800 candidates. Surely everyone has to send the transcripts into admissions.

My guess would be no. This is just from my candidate technician, who only covers the northeast. It is likely safe to assume that the same applies to all candidates.
 
My DS did not get this letter but, as mentioned earlier, his portal went from green to red for the 7th semester grades (around the 1st of Jan).
