I have not seen a portion of my application that asks for a FFR interview. Does this happen for only some people? Also, has anyone received a congressional nomination yet?

Regarding a USMA interview, my FFR was there during my nomination interview.

My son had his interview a few weeks ago and was notified he got the nomination later that week.

If you look at Post #16 in this year’s USMA Appointment List at link below, that seems to be the latest list of self-reported offers of appointment. You can see there are some elected official noms noted.

Some elected officials wait until their deadline to submit their slates. Some are still interviewing. Some wrapped up their slates, submitted, and updates are in candidate portals. Some don’t interview at all.

USMA Class of 2024 Appointment Thread

USMA has changed this year to require an interview prior to an offer. The interviews are coordinated and prioritized through the FFR network. If you are a competitive candidate, your FFR should reach out to you to get it scheduled.

Not all the FFRs are tracking the requirement. The RCs will let you know when you need it. Don’t sweat this interview, if you are competitive and have a nom you should do fine in a FFR interview.
