I just got a correspondence from the regional officer stating that Admissions will not be continuing my application process without improvement in Academics and Leadership credentials. Likewise, I can only update my Athletic/Extra Curricular and test score information.

I have got a 1240 on my SAT, 1230 on my PSAT, and another SAT date on the 26th of August. Furthermore, I'm highly involved in school and the field; I've done 3.5 years as an officer in my Army JROTC unit, Treasurer of 6 science-based clubs, member of the National Honor Society, 1 year in Track & Field and Golf.

How can I improve??

You don't mention your grades. What is your GPA? Perhaps that was the weak area.

Varsity athletics is part of the leadership score. Making a varsity team sports is important. Class standing is what counts. GPA is relevant only to the extent it determines your class rank. ACT SAT scores can always be improved.

If you can bump those things then do what you need to do for that to happen. If not, close the door on USMA and move on. ROTC is a great avenue to commissioning. Have you considered that?

I have a 3.66 unweighted GPa, and a 3.99 weighted GPA. I also stand 20 out of 350 in my class. Furthermore, I was varsity on both my sports, however, I didn't recieve and varsity letters.

Yes, I have started my application for Army ROTC, Navy ROTC, and AF ROTC.

Have you reached out to your regional admissions officer to ask this question?

I agree with Navyhoops. You should talk to your RC.
Based on what you have told us, your file doesn't look like it qualifies for closing. But, your RC must have a reason and he is the person to ask.

I also agree, call or email the RC. The RC's are very candid, and will likely tell you what you need to have in order to be competitive for a spot; even sharing insight about the competition within your district. Give that a try and let us know what happens. Good luck.
