DS received JROTC nom. 17 Nov. on the portal, 3Q letter 18 Nov. on the portal, and notification of admission via portal 12 Dec.

Yes. That is often referred to as “the TWE,” Thin White Envelope, which contains a letter informing the recipient they are not being offered an appointment. Some of the SAs now do it electronically via portal or email (The Worst Email.) You will hear one way or another.

On mu 3Q letter, it stated West Point is not doing rolling admission this cycle. Rather, a bulk of appointments will be out Feb. 26 - May 1.

When I got accepted, I think a majority were in waves. I think the first wave for me was in February and the second wave was around March/April iirc. However, some appointments did happen randomly

I looked back to last year and I think I recall less than 200 people posted about their appointments so we have to assume we are only seeing a fraction of appointments on these threads this year, too. And I agree..waiting is the WORST.
