Hello, I am currently applying to USMA, USNA, and USAFA for the class of 2024. In the CFA portion of USMA's application portal, it says that if I have already taken the test, I can request the scores from either USNA or USAFA. Does this mean that I can do the CFA for USNA or USAFA, and then have these scores sent to USMA? Or should I do the CFA for the 3 academies seperately?

You take one test and it is sent to all three schools. It’s saying if USNA or USAFA already have your CFA scores, USMA will request that they be sent to them to be input in your USMA portal.

Dig deeper with your research into USMA.edu, your primary resource. I believe they require a video of your CFA.

Others will pop up with more info, I’m sure.

So does that mean if I take the cfa for USNA and have the scores sent from USNA to USMA, USMA will accept the cfa and I won't have to upload videos into my USMA portal?

I’m not sure about that one I had forgotten that they require videos

From what I have read here on SAF over the past few cycles, you can certainly share the scores. But - I believe USMA still requires the video. If you have already taken the CFA, that means, I think, a do-over with a video for them, meeting or bettering your original CFA. If you haven’t taken the CFA yet, be prepared to give it your best effort and do the video on that one.

Be sure you get clarification on this from official sources if you can’t find the answers you need on the Admissions sites. Everything here is unofficial.

USMA requires the videos. Scores can be shared but the videos prove the validity of the content and quality of the tests themselves. There are more videos to assist the candidate on YouTube.

The best advice is to video your test and them have them sent to all three. USMA requires videos of pull ups and pushups.
