Haven't seen one up yet for this year so I guess I'll start it! Just got the call today! What a start to a new year!

You received BFE?! Congrats

Congratulations! It's great to hear that BFE's are arriving already! I thought they weren't going to be out until February! I hope my DS gets some info soon. Waiting is hard! Again congrats! Great job!

Most of them will not be out until late February. I am assuming that CadetMoore received an LOA as a recruited athlete, soldier, or URM, which is why he has already received his BFE.

Congratulations CadetMoore! My husband, USMA 77, was prior enlisted too. You should have an advantage at CBT. Hoping DS will join you this summer. :smile:

BFE's!

Sorry, new to all of this. CadetMoore, did you get a BFE, or phone call? I have only heard of the BFE!! I am also assuming that early notifications go out to recruited athletes? Any help/info is greatly appreciated.
My DS received a letter recently stating he is triple q'd and competitive and has a congressional nomination, so we have been saying our prayers constantly for the arrival of the BFE! We figured we would not hear anything until late Feb.

I got an unexpected phone call from my Congressional office congratulating me on my offer of appointment. They said they wanted to be the first to let me know. I get my BFE in the mail later this week. Im not exactly sure which nomination I got in for I'm assuming it was congressional because they gave me the call but I may have gotten it earlier because I'm a soldier with other noms. Never got a 3Q letter this year but my application was late because I had to finish it after Infantry school.

Are you enlisted and set to deploy? I heard that not only recruited athletes and those who are set to deploy are the only ones getting offers.........if so.. still looong wait for my DS:eek . Very happy for you, congrats!!!!!!!!

Thank you for your private message. I am unable to reply privately but want to let you know I will be watching for your post that your DS got his BFE, and hopefully you will see mine! Thank you!

This thread will be sparse until around the end of February -- if I understand how USMA is operating this year -- not many appts will be handed out until end of Feb unless you have some extenuating circumstances.
