I'm CA-30, I didn't win my congressional slate so I'm on the NWL
 
I will not repeat all the information in recent posts. In short, there will be about 400 (maybe 450) more offers made between now and May (plus about 200 to the Prep School).

Each week the Admissions Board will meet and make decisions. I estimate that about 30-60 will be decided each week. These offers will be sent out that week- no big "wave".

Seriously though, just relax, some mail is delayed by snow, some offers will be in the second, third, or even fourth wave from the admission folks. Try reading a good book, I suggest the Three Musketeers. It should take up at least one night of hypervenilation.

Daaltaraan, your advice is extremely helpful! I saw the post last week on Facebook and I've been checking my mail everyday in anticipation, but I guess I'll have to continue waiting. I mean, we have to hear from admissions at some point right? Whether it's good or not? I'm in NJ-07 anxiously waiting for something..

That blue box about official correspondence on the front page will not indicate whether or not you were appointed. You must go to the "overview" tab and if you were offered an appointment there will be a royal blue box that allows you to accept/decline your appointment. Hope this helps.

I'm really not qualified to answer that, I'm a candidate like you. It may change from region to region, or be across the board for candidates, I really just don't know. Speaking as someone who lives in the Northeast Region however, my portal made said change and I also received a congratulatory email yesterday afternoon.
 
Again very excited for all the appointees and hopeful for those still waiting. DS was ranked #2 on MOC's list. There was a Pnom. The Pnom declined yesterday to attend USAFA. Should DS move up to that spot or does WP take the entire list? There was only one other 3Q'd candidate other than DS, but he was ranked #3. Being so close is destroying my digestive system. So nervous for him as well.
 
I am under the OD1A umbrella of admissions since I am being considered for football recruitment, and my admissions officer (Unger) said that NO Presidential appointments have gone out yet. They will be sent out in 1-2 weeks.

Just thought I'd let everyone know.

We were told the same thing...this includes service-connected nomination.

No, but I heard the USAFA will be sending out offers soon - so there may be more like WienerDog's DS case where some spots will open up by decline. I wouldn't expect a quick turn-around though.
